We are a manufacturer of medical products that are sold throughout the world.  We are seeking a Complaint Handling Specialist to support our Quality Assurance Team. The Complaint Handling Specialist is responsible for the handling of customer feedback that is reported to MedSource.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works cohesively across all departments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, third-party certification standards, and company policies.
  • Performs inspections of incoming product returns related to customer feedback.
  • Testing products on-site as needed.
  • Notifies Manager of issues that could affect the product, processes and/or any relationship with customers.
  • Assist in analyzing returned products and root cause issues to recommend corrective actions or preventative actions.
  • Analyze quality data to identify and support product improvement.
  • Data entry, data management, report generation and maintaining controlled documents.
  • Investigate, document, and communicate with customers regarding customer feedback.
  • Interact with customers regarding general product inquiries or suggestions.
  • Communicate with Vendors regarding feedback investigations.
  • Monitoring of quality management systems.
  • Assisting the Quality Assurance Department as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years’ experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Well organized
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of the medical device industry and the FDA and ISO regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to see and feel physical product characteristics. Ability to lift and transfer up to 25 lbs.
